HAHF is thrilled to announce its incredible support for heart surgeries in hospitals across Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, and Jaipur! From April to November 2024, we proudly facilitated a total of:
- Karnataka: 196 amazing surgeries at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Jayadeva Hospital, and Sakra World Hospital!
-Tamil Nadu: 63 life-saving surgeries atttinad Super Speciality Hospital, Kamakshi Medical Hospital, Namar Heart Hospital, and Dhanalakshmi Sriniv Medical College!
- West Bengal: 38 successful surgeries at RTIICS in Kolkata!
In Total, we celebrated an astounding 293 surgeries during this period!

Today, a heart surgery to close hole in a child’s heart costs a minimum of Rs. 1,50,000/- to Rs. 3,00,000/-. But not everyone can afford this cost to save their child by paying for the surgery. Some parents even end up selling / mortgaging their source of income like agricultural land, house or a cow. It does not end up there, they will sometime have to pay higher interest for several years with whatever little income they earn.
Considering the charity work we are doing, hospitals offer discounted packages that are 25% to 50% cheaper than their normal packages. The agreement we have with hospitals is irrespective of number of days the patients stay in hospital (either in ward or ICU), the package will still remain the same. This helps us to keep cost under control without being indefinite.

How You Can Associate?
Many patients in India need heart surgery to survive, but financial resources are a major barrier. While the Ayushman Bharat Yojana provides health insurance up to Rs. Five lakhs for deserving families, not all eligible families are included, limiting access to care.
HAHF serves as a support system, aiming to expand its reach with the help of philanthropists, CSR contributions, HN, and individual donors. The Foundation complies with all necessary regulations, including 80G and 12A, ensuring transparent fund flow and providing donors with details on patient support.
